Meet Amy…
Welcome! I’m Amy Greene, a Houston native with a lifelong love for this city, its people, its homes, and its architecture. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a Communications degree and a concentration in Business. My professional path has taken me through Event Management, Private Equity Marketing, Interior Design, and Real Estate, bringing together the things I’ve always loved most: business, design, homes, and connecting with people.
I began my career in Dallas as an event coordinator for a large facility and design company, where I managed hundreds of events. In 2005, I transitioned to the Lehman Brothers Private Equity Fund of Funds team as a Marketing Associate, earning both my Series 7 and Series 66. I continued with Lehman’s successor company, Neuberger Berman, until 2012.
In 2013, I returned home to Houston to pursue an Interior Design degree. I paused my studies when I was recruited by a notable Houston-area designer, giving me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design world. Fourteen months later, I found the perfect blend of my skills and interests at New Leaf Real Estate. Since joining New Leaf in 2016, I’ve been a part of more than 400 real estate transactions totaling nearly $500 million in sales.
Interior design has been a passion of mine from a young age and remains an important part of what I bring to my clients. For more than 20 years, friends, family, and real estate clients alike have trusted my guidance and eye for design, from choosing paint colors and hardware to navigating major renovations. As a design consultant, I combine my love of real estate, architecture, and design to help clients see the potential in their homes and make thoughtful choices that enhance both the way they live and the value of their property, before and after the sale.
My deep knowledge of Houston and eye for design allow me to offer more than real estate expertise. I bring a thoughtful perspective to homes, neighborhoods, design, and the way people live, and I’d love the opportunity to help you find, create, or make the most of a place you love to call home.
